Eating Pink Lady® apples on a regular basis could certainly be good for your health because apples can help lower blood cholesterol, improve bowel function, and reduce risk of stroke, prostate cancer, type II diabetes and asthma.

Team Pink Lady

The Pink Lady(R) PoleCats Scott Dunn Polar Challenge team consists of three determined female adventurers: Sam, Tori & Felicity.

Team Pink Lady® first met while organising overseas expeditions for the youth development charity, BSES Expeditions (formerly The British Schools Exploring Society) based at The Royal Geographical Society.

Having already taken part in a variety of expeditions to cold climate areas including Greenland, Svalbard, Iceland and Antarctica, they are keen to get their claws into something that will test their skills to the limit.

With an average age of 25, Team Pink Lady® are among the youngest teams in the race, but believe they have the hunger, drive and determination to succeed.

To find out more about what drives these feisty felines, read their personal profiles...

Sam Eve in an apple

Sam loves to prove that girls are just as good as boys.

Tori James in an apple

Tori can't wait to visit such an extreme and beautiful environment - she's looking forward to the simplicity of life whilst on the race.

Felicity Aston in an apple

Felicity has over-wintered in Antarctica, and has the most cold-weather experience of all the girls.
